My Shadha, Our Shadha, Your Shadha

Our beautiful daughter, our baby girl born on the 30th August 2006 who sadly passed away 4 days
later......

Some say that our lives, our achievements, all the good things and bad things that happen in this
crazy world of ours are written, mapped out for us, it is a destiny, a path that we follow.

If this is true then we have no words for the author of the past week.

Everyone in life is so special to me and Donna and we know we do not always show it but we love each
and everyone one of you as much as we possibly can. Take care of your families, your friends and
most importantly your children they are truly god’s gift. In the short time that we knew our
daughter, Shadha, a bond was forged that will stay with us forever.


Shadha’s Prayer

Do not stand at my side and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

Shadha is a thousand winds that blow.
Shadha is the diamond glint on snow.
Shadha is the sunlight on ripened grain.
She is the gentle autumn rain.

When you wake in the morning hush,
She will be the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
Our daughter is the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my side and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!


To our darling daughter Shadha,

You came into our world early and you left it the same.

You were the most precious thing in our lives for those special few days, you looked so healthy, so
beautiful and so strong, but our world proved too much for you, and now you are gone.

Now we know you are not suffering and hope you rest well, be strong and ready precious one, go begin
your new life without us, we will always be there holding your hand.

We will miss taking you home, taking care of you, watching you grow, introducing you to family, to
friends, taking you for walks, playing with the dogs, teaching you to swim, building sand castles on
the beach, seeing your first steps, first day at school, showing you our world, there’s so much we
wanted to do.

You are supposed to break our hearts when you achieve special things in your life, but you have done
it so early. Don’t worry my darling we will heel, knowing you are safe and with us always.

So few words, but such a short life, god bless our darling daughter every single night.

You will be in all our hearts for eternity, never will a day go by when you are not there in our
thoughts and we know you will be watching over us too, save a special place for us and wait, we will
be with you soon.

Most of all Shadha, we would like to thank you for your parting kiss it will stay with us for the
rest of our life until we meet in the next.

To Family and Friends

Our thanks and best wishes go out to everyone who offered their words of encouragement after the
birth of our daughter, and to the support and sympathy we have received since the day she left.

There were prayers said for Shadha all over the world, friends near and far and from differing
religions praying for her life, everyone did everything in their power to make this work, but alas
it was not to be, but our heartfelt thanks to all of you.

Doctors and Nurses

A special thanks goes out to all the doctors and nurses at the Costa del Sol Hospital in Marbella
and to the team at the Materno Infantil in Malaga.

These people did everything in their powers to firstly try and stop the early birth of our daughter
and then afterwards took every care of Shadha in order to stabilise her, we thank them for the time
we did have and their constant battle to make good.


God bless our baby daughter Shadha, born on the 30th August 2006 and in our hearts for all
eternity.
